Job description
Coperniq is building the operating system for contractors.
Our goal is simple: give contractors one system—and a team of AI agents—to run their entire business. It is a huge, underserved market, and we intend to build the company that defines it.
We’re backed by Y Combinator and Initialized Capital. We’re now looking for a strong full-stack engineer to join our small team.
You’ll work across the product, own projects end to end, and build software for complex contractor operations.
Our Stack
Backend: Node.js, NestJS, MikroORM, PostgreSQL, TypeScript
Frontend: React, TypeScript, GraphQL
Who We’re Looking For
Startup or founding-engineer experience
High energy and a strong bias toward shipping
Autonomous and proactive—you can own a project without constant follow-up
Experience building complex products across multiple domains
Strong judgment and the ability to work through ambiguity
5+ years experience
Nice to Have
Experience building voice AI agents
Experience building AI-powered document or image editing and annotation
