Sr. Software Engineer - BigCommerce

A Senior Software Engineer specializing in BigCommerce at Creative Chaos will play a vital role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining e-commerce platforms powered by BigCommerce. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using the BigCommerce platform Integrate third-party services and create custom applications as needed Analyze client requirements and provide effective solutions Collaborate with design teams to improve user interface and experience Implement robust, scalable, and secure code Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment Stay updated with the latest BigCommerce features and industry trends Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on BigCommerce Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with server-side programming in PHP or Node.js Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends Experience with version control systems, such as Git Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) Paid Time Off Health Insurance OPD Training and Development
