Job description

About Us

Cardinal Education is a premier educational consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area that provides world-class academic coaching, test preparation, and admissions advising. The Connect Division, the team concerned with client operations, is central to our service delivery model, coordinating logistics, managing relationships, and ensuring that every family experiences the highest level support and impact.

About the Role

Cardinal Education works with families who want the best coaches and consultants for their children. As a Client Enrollment Manager, you own the family relationship from recommendation to signed package. You review each family’s needs, recommend the right expert, build and present the proposal, guide parents through questions and negotiation, and make sure the service launches smoothly.

You’ll manage a portfolio of 15 to 20 active families at different stages, with new opportunities arriving daily. It’s a high-ownership role for someone who can run a full pipeline, make sound decisions independently and close with care.

What You’ll Own

  • Needs to recommendation: review intake and assessment notes and match each family with the right coach or consultant.
  • Proposal to close: prepare personalized proposals and quotations, handle objections and negotiate terms with parents through to a decision.
  • Enrollment and launch: set up payment, confirm enrollment and coordinate the service start with internal teams.
  • Pipeline management: run your full portfolio in Salesforce, keeping every opportunity moving and every record accurate.
  • Package health: monitor active coaching packages so students use their hours well, and flag retention risks early.
  • Continuous improvement: share insights with intake, coaching, and leadership teams to improve how we serve families.

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid experience in account management and client success roles is a must; background in consultative sales, admissions, or enrollment preferred
  • A track record of owning a large book of clients or deals at once, with results you can quantify: how many accounts, what close or retention rate
  • Experience negotiating with clients on price or terms and closing the deal
  • Salesforce or other CRM tools, used daily to manage a pipeline
  • Strong executive functioning skills: you plan, prioritize, and follow through across many moving parts without being told the next step
  • Excellent written English skills, especially careful, persuasive emails to parents
  • Sound judgment under pressure; you know what needs attention now and what can wait
  • A habit of managing your work to fit your day; not stretching your day to fit your work
