Senior Backend Engineer (Device Cloud Platform)

The Senior Backend Engineer on the Devices Cloud Platform team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend services and platform capabilities that support a global cloud video platform. The position provides senior-level ownership of critical systems supporting reliable communication, deployment, and operation of services across a distributed, multi-region environment.The role combines hands-on Go development with cloud-native platform engineering, spanning backend services, Kubernetes, networking, distributed systems, and production reliability. These systems also support the distribution of settings and configuration to edge devices, directly enabling customer-facing capabilities and helping solve real-world customer needs. The position contributes to platform architecture and engineering practices with a focus on building reliable, scalable systems that have a direct impact on both the product and the business.
