Job description

The Role

We're looking for a Rendering Engineer who's passionate about real-time graphics and wants to work at the bleeding edge of GPU technology. You'll be designing and implementing visually stunning, technically demanding rendering workloads that stress-test the latest graphics hardware. This is an opportunity to craft the benchmarks that define what modern GPUs can do.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cutting-edge rendering techniques for benchmark workloads

  • Develop real-time graphics pipelines using Vulkan, DirectX 12, Metal, or similar modern APIs

  • Create visually impressive scenes that showcase cutting edge rendering techniques

  • Optimize rendering code to maximize GPU utilization and expose hardware bottlenecks

  • Collaborate with the team to integrate AI/ML workloads into graphics pipelines

  • Profile and analyze GPU performance across different hardware vendors

  • Contribute to the development of new benchmark features and rendering technologies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in real-time graphics or game engine development

  • Strong proficiency in Rust or C++ and shader programming (HLSL/GLSL)

  • Deep understanding of modern graphics APIs (Vulkan, DX12, Metal)

  • Solid knowledge of rendering techniques: PBR, deferred/forward rendering, shadow mapping, post-processing

  • Experience with GPU profiling and performance optimization

  • Strong math fundamentals (linear algebra, 3D geometry)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ray tracing (DXR, Vulkan RT) and path tracing

  • Familiarity with mesh shaders, variable rate shading, and other modern GPU features

  • Experience with compute shaders and GPGPU programming

  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, CUDA, TensorRT)

  • Contributions to open-source graphics projects or personal rendering experiments

  • Rust programming experience

Why Join Us

  • Work on graphics technology that millions of users rely on to evaluate hardware

  • Access to the latest GPUs and hardware before public release

  • Collaborate with a small, talented team passionate about pushing graphics boundaries

  • Competitive compensation and equity

  • Flexible remote-friendly work environment

  • Opportunity to shape the future of GPU benchmarking
