Job description

Immediate need for Siemens Gamesa Troubleshooters with experience and training on Siemens Gamesa turbines. As a Wind Turbine Troubleshooter, you will be responsible for identifying common, reoccurring, and major component faults on newly operational Siemens G145 wind turbine generators: Travel to various wind farm sites across the U.S. and Canada for job assignments Troubleshoot problems on systems where duly trained/certified, including hydraulics, electrical and mechanical to ensure wind turbine and generator is operational and functioning properly Develop advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site in collaboration with other competent individuals May perform maintenance tasks Lead small teams; accountable for the safety, competency and productivity of individuals assigned to them Keep records, maintains documentation and reports technical, safety issues and difficulties as required by company policy.

Maintain and follows safety procedures as required by company policy. May assist or perform component replacement, retrofits, and other special assignments Continue to develop and expand wind maintenance skillset through on-the-job training and train others in performing service work Work safely, competently and productively under the direction of others
