Job description

JENTIS is a Vienna-based SaaS scale-up that helps businesses take back control of their data. With our technology, companies capture the highest-quality data without depending on third parties and stay compliant with even the strictest privacy regulations around the world. Founded in 2020, we're a multinational team, working remotely, hybrid and from our office in Vienna.

Your role

We're looking for an English-speaking Sales Development Representative to help us keep that momentum going. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our future customers, turning fresh leads into real conversations and, eventually, long-term partnerships.

If you enjoy connecting with people and have a soft spot for data, keep reading.

You'll be part of our marketing team and work closely with Sales, which gives you a front-row seat to everything happening on both sides.

And if you are curious about marketing, you can spend up to 20% of your time supporting the team, especially with events. Picture yourself meeting prospects at trade shows, helping shape our booth or making our next conference appearance a success. This is entirely your call: if you'd rather keep your focus on outreach, that's perfectly fine too.

The team you'd join

We're a small team, so ideas get tried out rather than disappearing silently in a box. When you hit a wall, someone will sit down with you and work through it. Whatever the outcome, you'll have learned something and grown from it, and that's exactly how we like it.

Your playground

  • Identify potential customers and create new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting

  • Call prospects to start conversations and build lasting relationships with our brand

  • Follow up on marketing leads from events, webinars, paid campaigns, our website and other channels

  • Engage and qualify prospects through creative, personalized email and messaging sequences

  • Book meetings, nurture leads and help Account Executives prepare for discovery calls

  • Work with the sales team to develop strategies that help us hit our targets

  • Manage leads and track sales activities in HubSpot

  • Keep a close eye on competitors, market trends and industry developments

  • Report regularly on sales activities and results to the leadership team

What you bring

  • Native or near-native English, both spoken and written

  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, for example as an SDR or BDR

  • Experience in lead generation, such as cold calling and multichannel outreach

  • A talent for building and maintaining relationships with prospects and stakeholders

  • Comfortable in using AI wherever it helps, but without sounding like it

  • A process-driven mindset and a good sense of how an effective sales pipeline works

  • An eye for what could work better, and the drive to make it happen

  • Genuine enthusiasm for sales and outbound

  • Willingness to travel to our Vienna office at least four times a year for team meetings, occasionally more

Light on sales experience? Apply anyway. If you bring motivation, talent and a related background, for example in marketing, customer success, recruiting or account management, we'd love to hear from you. We care more about how you think and how much you want to grow than about a perfect CV.

Bonus points:

  • Additional languages, especially German or a Nordic language

  • A passion for data analytics and online marketing

  • Experience working on ABM campaigns

  • A background in B2B SaaS, ideally in a remote-first scale-up

  • An understanding of web tracking fundamentals

  • Hands-on experience with CRM and sales tools, especially HubSpot

  • If you're up for it: lend a hand with events and other marketing activities (up to 20% of your time)

What's in it for you?:

  • Remote-first work environment: work from anywhere within CET +/- 3 hours

  • Stay connected via our virtual office space: Gather

  • Flexible working time: core hours are from 10am - 3pm CET

  • True work/life balance: Employment contracts are based on a strict 38,5hr work week (any extra hours are offset with additional paid vacation time)

  • An international work environment with colleagues from 12 nations

  • Fun, relaxed, and regular remote and onsite team events

  • Personal development budget and allocated learning days

  • Vacation Days: min 25 days per year (or more if local labor law requires) plus additional leave for special events

  • General Exit Participation for all employees in the event of an exit during their tenure

The total full-time salary range for this position is EUR 40,000.00-70,000.00 per annum. At JENTIS, the total salary is comprised of a fixed monthly base and a quarterly performance bonus. Our employment contracts are not all-inclusive, meaning they are based on a 38,5 hour work week with the option to take compensatory days off. Final salaries are determined based on an individual's geographic location, qualifications, experience, and time commitment. We also offer other benefits on top, which we're happy to tell you more about in a personal interview!
