Job description

With a strong and growing partner ecosystem, Keepit enables partners to build scalable, profitable data protection practices for their customers. As our Channel Solutions Engineer, you'll sit at the heart of that partner-led go-to-market strategy, working directly with systems integrators, resellers, MSPs, and distributors across the DACH region.

About the role

You'll join Keepit's Global Solution Engineering team, reporting to DACH SE leadership. In this senior pre-sales and partner enablement role, you'll blend deep technical expertise with commercial thinking, thriving in a fast-moving, partner-first environment. You'll partner closely with our DACH Channel Sales Leadership to shape strategic priorities and translate them into actionable technical enablement plans, working together with our Regional Partner Managers across the DACH region. This role involves travel of approximately 30-50 percent (partner visits, customer engagements, events).

You will:

Build a community

  • Engage with our channel partners' consultants and SEs to build long-term relationships.

  • Establish a community of technical Keepit evangelists among our channel partners.

Partner enablement and onboarding

  • Contribute to building scalable onboarding and enablement programs that take partners from activation to long-term self-sufficiency.

  • Create and facilitate technical training, workshops, webinars, demo support, and train-the-trainer sessions.

  • Develop repeatable enablement assets, including playbooks, architecture guides, demo narratives, use-case alignment, and competitive positioning materials.

MSP solution readiness

  • Enable MSP partners to operationalize Keepit within repeatable managed service offerings.

  • Advise on customer onboarding models, service packaging, technical delivery readiness, and scalable best practices that build profitable recurring business.

Distribution and scale

  • Serve as a technical advisor to distributors and distribution-based technical resources.

  • Support technical recruitment, downstream partner activation, certification readiness, and enablement at scale.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with DACH and SE leadership, Regional Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Support, and Channel teams.

  • Capture technical objections, market feedback, and product enhancement opportunities, and turn them into actionable recommendations for Keepit's product team.

What success looks like:

  • Growing partner-sourced and partner-led pipeline across the DACH region.

  • Increased technical readiness and certification across key partners.

  • Stronger partner autonomy in demo and deployment motions.

  • Higher enablement adoption and improved technical win rates.

  • Strategic partners building profitable, repeatable SaaS data protection practices with Keepit.

What you'll gain:

  • Be part of a fast-growing SaaS company with a clear, differentiated product.

  • Work in a partner-first culture where your impact is visible and measurable.

  • Collaborate with a global team of talented engineers and channel professionals.

  • Work close to key DACH partners from our Munich hub, in a vibrant regional tech scene.

  • Enjoy competitive compensation and a culture that values innovation, curiosity, trust, and autonomy.

Must-haves:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.

  • Bring 6+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, technical pre-sales, partner engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

  • Lead technical discovery, solution positioning, demos, and architecture discussions with both business and technical audiences.

  • Communicate fluently in German and English, spoken and written.

  • Communicate persuasively in writing, speech, and presentations to influence stakeholders, from technical practitioners to partner leadership.

  • Have prior experience helping partners build repeatable service offerings, technical certifications, and scalable delivery models.

  • Bring prior success in a partner-only or strongly channel-led go-to-market organization.

  • Speak French as an additional language.
