Description

The Sr. Business Development Representative plays a key role in identifying new business opportunities by engaging with and nurturing relationships with potential clients. Strong communication skills are essential for building rapport, guiding prospects through the initial stages of the sales process, and seamlessly connecting them with account executives. This position is critical to driving sales and expanding the company’s client base.

Responsibilities

  • 60 Dials Per Day Minimum

  • 1 appt set- 50 Dials Per Day Minimum

  • 2 Appt set- No Dial Minimum

  • 15 sets per month

  • 12 held meetings per month

  • 80% show rate

  • Assist other BDR’s with questions / training

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails

  • Present our company to potential clients

  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives

  • Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

  • Track record of achieving sales quotas

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot)

  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations

What to Expect in the Interview Process

  2. One Way Interview: Selected candidates will receive a link to answer a short set of questions by video. Please plan to record your responses in your typical work-from-home environment, ensuring it is well-lit and free of distractions.

  3. Live Zoom Interview: Candidates who move forward will meet with Talent Acquisition and the Hiring Manager for a live Zoom interview to discuss experience, role expectations, and team fit.

  4. Final Zoom Interview: Candidates who move forward from the first interview will meet with Talent Acquisition and the CGO via Zoom for the final interview.
