Job Summary

Palo Alto Networks is looking for an Identity Security Domain Consultant to join our team in Japan. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, helping them understand and address their identity security challenges.

You will work closely with Account Executives, Solution Sales Specialists, Subject Matter Experts and other teams throughout the sales cycle. You will lead technical discussions, deliver product demonstrations, support proof-of-concepts and help customers understand the value of identity security solutions in their environment.

This is a customer-facing role that combines strong technical knowledge with consulting, communication and presales skills.

Your Impact

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them understand identity security challenges and potential solutions.
• Lead technical presales activities throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and technical qualification through evaluation and solution validation.
• Partner closely with Account Executives and other sales stakeholders to develop and execute technical strategies for customer opportunities.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops to both technical and executive audiences.
• Lead and support customer proof-of-concepts (POCs), ensuring technical requirements are clearly defined and successfully addressed.
• Understand customer environments, business requirements and technical challenges, and translate them into appropriate identity security solutions.
• Respond to technical and functional requirements in RFIs, RFPs and other customer engagements.
• Address technical questions, objections and escalations throughout the evaluation process.
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to support successful customer outcomes.
• Share customer feedback and technical requirements with relevant product and engineering teams.
• Stay current on developments in identity security, cybersecurity, authentication, privileged access and related technologies.
• Represent Palo Alto Networks and Idira at customer meetings, partner engagements, industry events and technical seminars.

アカウントエグゼクティブ、ソリューションセールス スペシャリスト、Subject Matter Expert（SME）、その他のチームと密に連携しながら、セールスサイクル全体を通じて活動します。提案活動においては、技術的なディスカッションをリードし、製品デモ、概念実証（PoC）の支援などを通じて、お客様環境においてIdira アイデンティティ セキュリティ ソリューションがもたらす価値を伝える役割を担います。

• 信頼される技術アドバイザーとして、アイデンティティセキュリティの課題と適切なソリューションに対する理解を深めてもらうべく、お客様を支援します。
• ヒアリング・技術的要件定義からソリューション検証・評価に至るまで、セールスサイクル全体の技術的プリセールス活動を主導します。
• アカウントエグゼクティブや他の営業担当者と緊密に連携し、案件獲得に向けた技術戦略を策定・実行します。
• 技術者から経営層まで、幅広い対象に対して効果的な技術に焦点を当てたプレゼンテーション、デモ、ワークショップを実施します。
• お客様の概念実証（PoC）を主導し、技術要件が明確に定義され、その要件を満たせるように支援していきます。
• お客様のIT環境、ビジネス要件、技術的課題を把握し、最適なアイデンティティセキュリティソリューションへと落とし込みを行います。
• RFI（情報提供依頼書）、RFP（提案依頼書）、その他お客様とのやり取りにおける、技術的・機能的要件への回答を行います。
• 評価プロセス全体を通じて、技術的な質問、懸念事項、エスカレーション要求に対応します。
• お客様、パートナー、社内関係者との強力な関係性を構築し、プロジェクトの成功を推進します。
• お客様からのフィードバックや技術的要件を、関連する製品チームや開発者チームへ共有します。
• アイデンティティセキュリティ、サイバーセキュリティ、認証、特権アクセスならびにその他関連技術の最新動向を常に把握します。
• お客様との会議、パートナーとの協業活動、業界イベント、技術セミナー等でパロアルトネットワークスならびにIdiraチームを代表して、登壇・参加します。

Qualifications

• 10 + years of experience in presales, solutions consulting, systems engineering, technical consulting or a similar customer-facing technical role within cybersecurity or enterprise technology.
• (Strong) Understanding of identity security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), authentication or related security technologies.
• Experience working with enterprise identity environments, including Active Directory, LDAP and authentication technologies. Familiarity with Windows and UNIX/Linux environments is a plus.
• Experience engaging directly with customers through technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Strong ability to understand customer business and technical requirements and translate them into effective security solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
• Understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, scripting or programming concepts, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Experience working with cybersecurity solutions, particularly identity security, IAM, PAM or access management, is preferred.
• Relevant cybersecurity or cloud certifications such as CISSP, SANS, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud are a plus.

• 技術的なヒアリング、ソリューション設計、デモンストレーション、ワークショップ、PoCなどを通じて、直接お客様に対応した経験。
• お客様のビジネス要件・技術要件を理解し、それらを実効性の高いセキュリティソリューションへと落とし込むことができる能力。
• 優れたプレゼンテーションおよびコミュニケーション能力（複雑な技術概念を技術者アにも経営陣にも分かりやすく説明できるスキル）。
• エンタープライズアプリケーション、API、スクリプト作成やプログラミングの概念、AWS/Azure/Google Cloud等のクラウド環境に関する理解があれば尚可。
• サイバーセキュリティソリューション（特にアイデンティティセキュリティ、IAM、PAM、アクセス管理）の実務経験があれば、さらに望ましい。
• CISSP、SANS、AWS、Azure、Google Cloudなどの関連するサイバーセキュリティやクラウドの資格を保有していれば尚可。
