You will work closely with the engineering team, and our Head of Security. This is a do-it-all role, and we need an individual who wants to get their hands dirty. This role is full-time remote in the United States. Design, deploy, and maintain AWS resources (e.g., EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, IAM). Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Implement and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems. Continuously assess and harden infrastructure security. Support compliance initiatives (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST). Participate in troubleshooting of production issues. Monitor system performance, investigate bottlenecks, and recommend improvements. Be responsible for production issues during business hours 3–5+ years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
Strong experience with AWS core services and best practices; AWS certification is a competitive advantage. Proficiency in Terraform. Experience with Docker and orchestration (ECS, Fargate). Solid knowledge of networking, Unix systems, and cloud security principles. Experience building CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST).
Success working within a small team having ownership of many areas. A results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. It’s beneficial if you are interested in food-as-medicine, startups, and community health. Must be based in U.S and have work authorization.
