Marketing & Communications Manager

About This Role
As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a key role in how Waga Energy is represented across the U.S. market by driving marketing initiatives, industry engagement, media relations, and strategic communications. Success in this role means building brand awareness, supporting business development efforts, and delivering compelling content that strengthens Waga Energy's position as a leader in Renewable Natural Gas. Reporting to the President, Business Development & Commercial, you'll work across teams and with external partners to amplify our mission and support continued growth.
What You'll Do – Responsibilities & Duties
• Lead and execute U.S. marketing initiatives aligned with business development priorities and global marketing objectives.
• Coordinate Waga Energy's participation in industry conferences, trade shows, speaking engagements, and other events, including planning, logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities.
• Plan, launch, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn and Google Ads, while tracking performance and lead generation results.
• Develop marketing and communication materials including presentations, banners, event collateral, and other promotional content.
• Manage content creation efforts, coordinate with design partners, and maintain a strategic content calendar to ensure consistent messaging.
• Build and maintain media relationships, support press activities, and help position Waga Energy as a thought leader through case studies, white papers, and industry content.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, support business development activities, and provide actionable market insights.
• Lead planning and execution of project inaugurations, external communications, newsletters, and other high-visibility marketing initiatives.
About You – Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a similar role.
• Professional-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience managing marketing campaigns, communication programs, or brand-building initiatives.
• Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media management, and performance reporting.
• Experience coordinating events, conferences, trade shows, or similar industry engagements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience within the energy, renewable energy, RNG, waste, or environmental sector is a plus.
