This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and building strong relationships. Previous experience in account management or payments is not required, as full training will be provided.

You will work closely with an experienced team to learn the acquiring industry while helping merchants with onboarding, day-to-day support, and account management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a friendly and responsive point of contact for merchant enquiries.

  • Support merchants throughout the onboarding process and help coordinate account setup.

  • Assist merchants with basic acquiring-related questions and escalate complex issues when needed.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure merchants are satisfied with our products and services.

  • Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions in CRM systems.

  • Work closely with Sales, Support, and Product teams to ensure a positive merchant experience.

  • Support the handover process from the Malta Sales Managers to the Account Management team.

  • Learn about merchant performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

No previous account management experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key traits and skills include:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

  • Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships.

  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take initiative.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Confidence using digital tools and learning new systems.

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about payments and financial services.

  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues across different departments.

  • Fluency in English and Maltese is required; fluency in Italian will be considered an asset.

  • Driving license.

What We Offer

  • Full on-the-job training and ongoing support.

  • Exposure to the payments and acquiring industry.

  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.

  • A collaborative and supportive team environment.

  • The chance to work closely with merchants and contribute to their success.
