Job description
Infor is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager to lead marketing activities for Process industries in the DACH Region . This role is critical to achieving Infor’s marketing pipeline goals in alignment with sales revenue targets. The Senior Field Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with sales, business development, strategy, and central marketing teams to execute persona-centric, integrated marketing programs that generate new business and expand business within the existing customer base.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic, results-driven mindset and a proven ability to build successful relationships with sales and translate business needs into effective marketing programs and pipeline. This individual will be resourceful inside and outside the company, committed to continuous improvement, and passionate about demand generation. Develop cohesive demand-generation plans in partnership with sales to generate measurable pipeline.
Review, report on, and own pipeline development and progression, establishing a regular reporting cadence with marketing and sales counterparts. Identify the most effective marketing vendors, media channels, and calls to action for the industry. Advise on campaign concepts and creative development to ensure effectiveness within the industry. Work with internal creative, digital, events, and operations teams to execute strategic marketing campaigns across a broad mix of tactics that achieve pipeline goals.
Tactics may include: Paid and organic digital marketing, Email, Events, Webinars, Pay-per-lead programs, Vendor evaluation sites. Proactively propose and manage social media campaigns and content to increase engagement and industry visibility. Coordinate with the industry Business Development team to create a consistent experience from marketing through outbound prospecting campaigns.
Collaborate with key sales and business stakeholders to increase the impact of marketing programs. Develop, execute, and optimize integrated regional marketing plans, leveraging both paid and organic digital channels to drive demand generation and pipeline. Deliver regular communications to the field regarding program information, updates, expected involvement, and access to promotional materials.
Work with partners to maximize program reach and potential. Managing and reporting on demand-generated pipeline and ROI from awareness through bookings. Establishing demand-generation plans, strategy, and spending. Executing programs that drive timely results. Previous experience in field marketing or demand generation. Knowledge of and experience executing modern marketing channels, including events and conferences, webinars, email, direct mail, and digital advertising.
Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and execute with close attention to detail. Energetic, high-performing professional who is willing to take initiative and be resourceful. Creative thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable introducing new ideas. Excellent communication skills. Confidence communicating with senior-level sales directors.
