What you will do:
- Lead day-to-day execution of federal and DoD IT programs from kickoff through delivery and sustainment.
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risks, deliverables, and customer expectations.
- Serve as a primary customer interface and maintain strong relationships with Government program, technical, and contracting stakeholders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across network engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, software, SATCOM, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, milestones, staffing plans, status reports, performance metrics, and risk registers.
- Track contractual requirements, deliverables, dependencies, corrective actions, and program performance against established baselines.
- Support financial management including forecasting, labor utilization, burn rates, subcontractor costs, and program profitability.
- Lead recurring program reviews, internal status meetings, customer briefings, and technical coordination sessions.
- Manage subcontractors, technology partners, vendors, and internal resources supporting successful program execution.
- Support change management, task order modifications, proposals, estimates, follow-on growth, and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with applicable DoD security, quality, and compliance requirements.
What you will bring:
- 7+ years of experience supporting IT, engineering, or technology programs, preferably within the DoD, Intelligence Community, NATO, or federal government.
- 3+ years of direct program or project management experience leading technical teams and complex, multi-stakeholder efforts.
- Working knowledge of enterprise IT environments including networking, cloud, cybersecurity, software, or infrastructure.
- Experience managing program schedules, budgets, staffing, resources, risks, deliverables, and customer reporting.
- Experience supporting federal contracts, task orders, contractual deliverables, and Government customers.
- Strong understanding of financial tracking, forecasting, labor utilization, burn rates, and program performance metrics.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and customer-facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into clear program impacts and action plans.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, technology partners, vendors, and geographically dispersed teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and project or schedule management tools.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, ITIL, or equivalent program/project management certification preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, cloud, Zero Trust, RMF, SD-WAN, EVMS, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), WBS/CWBS, or similar program controls is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Program Management, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Active Secret security clearance is required; Top Secret clearance is preferred. Must be able to work onsite in Carlsbad, CA with hybrid flexibility, and travel as required.
