Civil Engineer – Industrial Building Construction | Germany

Within our Engineering division, we are looking to recruit a cross-functional Civil Engineering team Civil Construction Manager, Civil Site/Production Manager and Civil Works Supervisor for the construction of industrial buildings as part of a major energy infrastructure project in Berlin, linked to the transformation and modernisation of an existing combined heat and power plant.

The project involves the construction and adaptation of new industrial buildings designed to house power generation equipment and auxiliary systems, including foundations, structural works, building envelopes, roofing and associated civil works.

We are looking for professionals with proven experience in civil construction and the delivery of industrial buildings or facilities, who are accustomed to working on site, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and monitoring construction progress and production activities.

*THE POSITIONS REQUIRE RELOCATION TO THE BERLIN AREA, GERMANY, FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF 3 YEARS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• CIVIL CONSTRUCTION MANAGER: Responsible for the overall management of civil works and industrial building construction, coordinating planning, production, resources, subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with schedule, quality and HSE requirements.

• CIVIL SITE / PRODUCTION MANAGER: Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of construction activities and site execution, supporting the Civil Construction Manager and coordinating teams, subcontractors, resources, materials and construction progress.

• CIVIL WORKS SUPERVISOR: Responsible for direct on-site supervision, organising crews, site workers and subcontractors on a daily basis and ensuring that works are executed in accordance with drawings, quality standards, safety requirements and the construction schedule.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in civil works and the construction of industrial buildings or facilities.

• Experience in the execution and monitoring of site-based construction activities.

• Experience coordinating teams, site personnel and subcontractors.

• Knowledge of foundations, structural works, building construction and associated civil works.

• Experience in industrial projects, energy projects, process plants, manufacturing facilities, logistics centres or other large-scale facilities will be highly valued.

• Previous experience in international projects will be an advantage.

EDUCATION

• Academic background in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Engineering or a related discipline. Candidates with education and training particularly focused on the execution of industrial construction projects will be especially valued.

LANGUAGES

• High level of English — essential.

  Für unseren Geschäftsbereich Engineering suchen wir ein interdisziplinäres Bauingenieurwesen-Team Bauleiter/in, Produktions-/Abschnittsleiter/in Bau und Polier/in bzw. Bauaufsicht für die Realisierung von Industriegebäuden im Rahmen eines bedeutenden Energieprojekts in Berlin. Das Projekt steht im Zusammenhang mit der Transformation und Modernisierung eines bestehenden Heizkraftwerks.

  Das Projekt umfasst den Neubau und die Anpassung von Industriegebäuden, die künftig Anlagen zur Energieerzeugung sowie zugehörige Neben- und Versorgungssysteme aufnehmen werden. Zum Leistungsumfang gehören unter anderem Gründungsarbeiten, Tragwerksbau, Gebäudehülle, Dacharbeiten sowie weitere zugehörige Tief- und Hochbauarbeiten.

  Gesucht werden Fachkräfte mit nachweislicher Erfahrung im Ingenieur- und Industriebau sowie in der Errichtung von Industriegebäuden oder Industriehallen, die regelmäßig auf der Baustelle tätig sind, Teams und Nachunternehmer koordinieren und den Baufortschritt sowie die Ausführung der Arbeiten überwachen.

  *DIE POSITIONEN ERFORDERN EINEN UMZUG IN DEN RAUM BERLIN, DEUTSCHLAND, FÜR EINEN ZEITRAUM VON MINDESTENS 3 JAHREN.

  AUFGABEN

  • BAULEITER/IN: Verantwortung für die Gesamtsteuerung der Bau- und Industriebauarbeiten, einschließlich Terminplanung, Bauproduktion, Ressourcensteuerung, Koordination der Nachunternehmer sowie Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Termin-, Qualitäts- und Arbeitsschutzvorgaben.

  • PRODUKTIONS-/ABSCHNITTSLEITER/IN BAU: Verantwortung für die tägliche Steuerung und Überwachung der Bauausführung auf der Baustelle, Unterstützung der Bauleitung sowie Koordination von Teams, Nachunternehmern, Ressourcen, Materialien und Baufortschritt.

  • POLIER/IN / BAUAUFSICHT: Verantwortung für die direkte Überwachung der Arbeiten auf der Baustelle, tägliche Organisation von Kolonnen, gewerblichen Mitarbeitern und Nachunternehmern sowie Sicherstellung der fachgerechten Ausführung gemäß Plänen, Qualitätsstandards, Sicherheitsvorgaben und Bauzeitenplan.

  BERUFSERFAHRUNG

  • Berufserfahrung im Tief- und Hochbau sowie bei der Errichtung von Industriegebäuden oder Industriehallen.

  • Erfahrung in der Ausführung und Überwachung von Bauarbeiten auf der Baustelle.

  • Erfahrung in der Koordination von Teams, Baustellenpersonal und Nachunternehmern.

  • Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Gründungen, Tragwerksbau, Hochbau und zugehörige Tiefbauarbeiten.

  • Erfahrung in Industrieprojekten, Energieprojekten, Prozessanlagen, Produktionsstätten, Logistikzentren oder vergleichbaren Großprojekten ist von Vorteil.

  • Erfahrung in internationalen Projekten ist ebenfalls von Vorteil.

  AUSBILDUNG / STUDIUM

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium bzw. eine entsprechende Ausbildung im Bereich Bauingenieurwesen, Bautechnik, Hochbau oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung. Besonders berücksichtigt werden Bewerber/innen mit einem Ausbildungs- oder Studienschwerpunkt im Bereich der Ausführung von Industriebauprojekten.

  SPRACHKENNTNISSE

  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse — zwingend erforderlich.

  • Spanischkenntnisse — vorzugsweise auf hohem Niveau.

  • Deutschkenntnisse — von Vorteil, vorzugsweise auf hohem Niveau.
