Job description

Unió Digital has grown almost entirely on word of mouth. This role is how we widen that. The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator owns top-of-funnel engagement: the vendor-funded programs, the hosted events, the social presence, and the content that puts us in front of Arizona businesses before they have a problem to solve. This is a new role, both for Unió Digital and for the Sales & Marketing team.

We are a small company in a growth phase, so expect to wear several hats and expect the shape of the job to move as we learn what works. Whoever takes this seat helps define what it becomes rather than inheriting a finished playbook. In a given month you might build a co-marketing campaign against a vendor's marketing development fund budget, host a lunch-and-learn for a dozen operations managers, run a webinar with one of our security partners, publish a blog post and tune the page it lives on, and keep LinkedIn moving in between.

You will be out of the office and in front of people regularly, including some evenings. We do not hard sell. Clients call us back because we find the thing that is actually broken and fix it. Every conversation you start should follow that pattern: understand the problem first, then talk about whether we are the right answer.

Responsibilities:

Generate awareness and inbound conversations beyond referrals, and grow the top of the funnel in the Tucson and southern Arizona market Own vendor marketing development fund (MDF) programs: propose co-marketing plans, submit for approval, execute them, and report results back to the vendor Host and run events end to end, from invite list through follow-up: lunch-and-learns, client dinners, vendor showcases, and webinars Run the social channels with a consistent voice and a real cadence (LinkedIn first, then Instagram and Facebook) Write and publish blog content, and make the minor website and on-page SEO updates that keep it findable Represent Unió Digital at chambers, associations, trade shows, and community events Open consultative conversations with prospects and referral sources, then hand qualified opportunities to the account team Track what works: event attendance, content performance, channel growth, and the conversations each one produces Qualifications: 2+ years in B2B marketing, events, partner marketing, or a comparable outward-facing role; vendor or channel marketing exposure (MDF, co-op funds, partner programs) is a plus, not a requirement Comfortable hosting a room: able to run a lunch-and-learn or a webinar without a script and keep it useful Working knowledge of SEO and web content, enough to publish a post and fix the page it sits on (WordPress, HubSpot, or comparable) Strong written voice; able to draft copy and turn a technician's explanation into something a business owner will actually read A consultative instinct: you ask what is broken before you talk about what we sell Comfortable building something that does not exist yet: this is a new seat, and the priorities will move as we find out what works Eligible to work in the U.S.; based in or relocating to Tucson, AZ; available for occasional evening and early-morning events
