Job Summary
This role is responsible for reviewing and supporting Protection & Control (P&C) designs through the development of new PCE standards and maintenance of the existing standards portfólio. The position ensures station equipment and circuit designs comply with established standards and technical requirements, supports the development and implementation of automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and consistency in design delivery, provides technical guidance to P&C Production and TFS teams, and develops, maintains, and reviews SS guides and other PCE standards documentation to promote high-quality and standardized design practices. The role also performs additional duties as assigned.Job Description

This is an onsite position based out of New Albany, OH
What You'll Do:
- Review and support Protection & Control (P&C) designs, including the development of new PCE standard designs and maintenance of the existing standards portfolio
- Review station equipment and circuit designs to verify compliance with PCE standards and ensure technical accuracy
- Leverage and support the development of automation tools and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability in P&C design development
- Provide technical guidance and support to P&C Production and TFS for design-related activities and issue resolution
- Develop, maintain, and review SS guides and other PCE standards documentation to support consistent and high-quality design implementation
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience requirements listed below:
Engineer(Grade 7)
Has typically acquired a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET* along with two or more years of related engineering experience.
Individuals with a Master's degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.
Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology can satisfy this degree requirement, if they obtain a certified Professional Engineering (PE) license.
*ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
Engineer Sr (Grade 8)
Has typically acquired 4 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; or 2 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET*; Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico** is encouraged and preferred.*ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology can satisfy this degree requirement, if they obtain a certified Professional Engineering (PE) license.
**VP or above may waive the requirement for a degree from a university with a Non ABET accredited program.
