Your mission & challenges

We're looking for a Software Engineer to connect our robots with fleet management systems and our internal software platform. You'll work in Mobile Robotics and build the integration layer between robot software, cloud services, fleet orchestration, and customer FMS environments.

  • You integrate mobile robots and mobile manipulators with internal software platform services.

  • You develop and maintain interfaces between robot software and fleet management systems.

  • You implement and validate VDA5050, MQTT, REST/gRPC, WebSocket, and related fleet communication protocols.

  • You support fleet localization, geofencing, map distribution, robot status reporting, multi-robot task allocation, and telemetry pipelines.

  • You build tools for fleet monitoring, mission execution, traffic management, and robot diagnostics.

  • You ensure stable connectivity, secure access, OTA/update workflows, and version compatibility between robot and platform.

  • You work with navigation, application, cloud, and customer project teams to deliver end-to-end fleet functionality.

What we can look forward to

  • A degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in robotics, software engineering, or a related technical field is a plus.

  • Strong experience in software system integration for robotics or fleet management.

  • Good knowledge of distributed systems and APIs.

  • Practical experience with C++, Python, and frontend or backend technologies.

  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, observability, logging, and deployment workflows.

  • Understanding of AMR/AGV navigation, robot states, missions, and fleet operation.

  • Experience with Synaos, NAiSE, Open-RMF, MiR, OTTO, SEER, Bosch, or comparable FMS platforms is a plus.

  • Good English communication skills.
