Job description

Location: Hybrid, office location: 120 Moorgate, London (1+ days a week)
Employment type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time (9-6 UK)
Salary: Up to 60k + Shares + Benefits

TransFICC is hiring for the SRE team to provide high-performance services to our customers. We develop an integration service product that enables our clients to access a flexible, hosted service without requiring their internal resources to address connectivity challenges across trading venues.

You will be part of our SRE team and contribute to TransFICC’s endpoints and infrastructure.

The role involves managing internal devices and office environments, such as provisioning laptops, supporting onboarding, maintaining developer stations, and providing desktop support, with a particular focus on Ubuntu/Linux.

What you’ll do:

  • Own provisioning and setup of Linux, macOS, and Windows devices

  • Run employee onboarding and be the main point of contact for desktop support

  • Keep pairing stations, Linux laptops, kiosk devices, and rebuild workflows running reliably

  • Manage Ansible, Jamf, Intune, and related endpoint tooling

  • Purchase, validate, and maintain machines and shared office engineering hardware

  • Reduce recurring issues through scripting, automation, and process improvements

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience owning desktop engineering, endpoint/workplace technology, and/or high-level support in a technical environment

  • Strong troubleshooting ability, particularly across Ubuntu/Linux, with some experience across macOS and Windows

  • Experience with endpoint management and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Jamf, and Intune

  • Comfort with CLI work, scripting, provisioning / rebuild workflows, and basic networking fundamentals

  • A strong interest in Linux, including experimenting with different distributions

  • A hands-on, self-sufficient approach and willingness to own physical office infrastructure

  • Willingness to be in our Moorgate office regularly
