Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop key opportunities across the Metals & Agriculture markets, staying close to industry trends, supply and demand dynamics, pricing, trade flows, regulation, and competitor activity.

    • Build a strong understanding of the commercial challenges facing metals, mining, agriculture, trading, and related commodity organisations, using this insight to position Kpler’s data and analytics solutions effectively.

    • Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders across the Metals & Agriculture ecosystem, including producers, traders, merchants, processors, financial institutions, and other market participants.

    • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and other teams to ensure feedback from Metals & Agriculture clients and prospects helps shape the product roadmap and go-to-market approach.

    • Work with peers and senior management to align global sales strategy with regional opportunities across the Metals & Agriculture verticals.

    • Maintain accurate records of client engagement, market opportunities, pipeline activity, forecasts, and deal progression.

    • Must-Have: Proven experience selling SaaS, DaaS, technology, market intelligence, or data solutions into the Metals and/or Agriculture sectors.

    • Strong knowledge of commodity markets, ideally including metals, mining, agriculture, soft commodities, grains, or related physical trading markets.

    • Good understanding of the commercial workflows and data requirements of commodity producers, traders, and market participants.

    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and commercial skills.

    • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and develop key markets.

    • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving market.

    • A collaborative team player focused on long-term client, business, and team success.

    • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS or DaaS, within Energy, Commodities, Maritime, or Financial Services industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern sales techniques, driving teams to achieve ambitious goals in both account management and new business acquisition.
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from sales data.
  • A hands-on, leading-by-example approach, thriving in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
  • Ability to balance short-term targets and long-term strategic goals, including market trends and business opportunities.
  • Flexible, cooperative, and committed to going the extra mile to adapt to change and drive success.

    • Candidates should be located New York or the surrounding area.
    • Must have legal authorization to live and work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
