We are currently seeking a Project Manager, Senior Civil Engineer to work full-time in our Dallas, TX office. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients in and around the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex.
As a Project Manager, Senior Civil Engineer you will work on a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Serve as Project Manager and Lead Civil Engineer for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
- Lead civil engineering projects from concept through completion, including planning, design, permitting, preparation of plans and specifications, regulatory coordination, and bid package development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions that meet client objectives.
- Coordinate and participate in design reviews, client meetings, construction meetings, and project team discussions.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality while ensuring successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts with new and existing clients.
- Assist with proposal preparation, marketing initiatives, project planning, and practice growth activities as part of EnSafe's seller-doer-manager culture.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff to encourage technical and professional development.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or the ability to obtain Texas licensure through reciprocity within a reasonable timeframe.
- 10+ years of civil engineering design and project management experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
- Experience managing municipal, commercial, and industrial civil engineering projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of site development, permitting processes, and coordination with local and state regulatory agencies.
- Strong project management skills, including experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams.
- Willingness to travel regionally, with occasional national travel for client meetings and project-related activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in a consulting environment.
